>>1505I've been thinking of the same thing. My conclusion is that making content might not be enough, but making something that content can be
made from would help the fandom immensely.
Something like a comic creator that people could use without drawing skills would take some time to make, but provide effort-free means of creating content for those who either can't draw or don't want to spend time on it. The Pony Comic Generator shows how much content comes out of even a completely random program, so a tool fans could use to deliberately create comics would definitely help a lot.
The alternate setting at
>>1271 would provide something new to discuss and draw from when it gets fleshed out enough, and it's ever so slowly being worked on by each CYOA like

My lifelong dream has been to make a virtual sandbox where pony bots live autonomously for players to mess with, but my object blindness has made programming it alone impossible. A virtual toy like that would be a good source of procedural content, whether for recordings or just greentext stories of interesting things happening in it. New people would be more likely to join this project once the project was underway, but since I'd need help to get started the project is stuck at a catch-22.
